Wishing everyone a blessed 2007 ahead. Goodbye 2006. Cya. . .

Last day of 2006, last day of the week too...

31st December 2006
Good evening everyone. It is 8:37pm now. We will be saying a forever goodbye to 2006 in about 4and a half hour. How have you been and done the whole year. Is there any fruitful return? If there isn't, do not give up at all. Lord is carrying you through your troubles. Pour your worries and troubles onto him. He will refresh you again with his warmth and love. God is filled with love.

Do not fall back to the same trap again and again. Take each trail as a lesson learnt and walk in his way. I prayed for a blessed year ahead and I must believe in it. Lord guide me. Thanks for saving me again and again from all my sinful acts. Thanks for forgiving me. I love you oh my precious Lord Jesus Christ. You will always be my saviour forever. In your precious name, amen.

Alright, I just came back from a day of outing firstly to church to worship the Lord. Secondly, Youth Chasers went to the nearby mini foodcourt to celebrate our cell group leader's birthday. After that, me and my elder sis went to Chinatown to meet her boyfriend. I went on a bus trip instead. I took SBS12 all the way to Tanah Merah MRT Station then alight to board SBS45 all the way to Upper East Coast Terminal. I took SBS43 to Punggol Terminal because its been a long time since I step into Punggol. I took SBS34 to Changi Airport.

My grand dad treated us dinner near Bedok Library. The food was splendid. I enjoy my dinner so much. Thank God for the food you provided for us.

Now I'm siting in the comfort of my own home, in the study room typing this article to post.

Yesterday 1plus, I went to Citylink to meet YiWei, Sarah, WangQiong, Hui Juan, SoftyGom, CharGom, Manda Gom & NeptuneGom for a gathering cum Christmas new year celebration plus a birthday surprise for WangQiong. We had Christmas gifts exchange too. I was the one to write the names of everyone. After that, We chose each ball of paper. The name that we got, we must pass the present to the person. I got SoftyGom name. MandaGom got my name so I got her present. I was so fun. We sang a birthday song for WangQiong. She was shy because we were singing very loudly.

Anyway, here are the pics I took:

Blessed Christmas!

25th December 2006
Hi everyone, good morning to you all. It is 11:51am now. Blessed Christmas everyone. Christmas is no Christmas without Christ Jesus. We hereby clelebrate the birth of our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!

I went to church yesterday's evening for Christmas Outreach cum party. I was a fun day. Me and my younger sis went to church early for a final practice of our Youth Chasers segment which is the last segment. We did a dance item of I Will Follow Him from Sister Act movie. We had a slideshow done too. Later I will show you one of the slides that I created.

The Christmas Outreach cum Party or Star Gaze officially started at 6pm with a prayer lead by one of the hosts which turns out to be my Elder Sis. After that, me and younger sis went to take our food. I invited some of my friends along but they have something on so not able to make it. To my surprise, one of my attachment friend, MiaoLing aka June came. She brought her younger sis along too. I was overjoyed when I saw them at the doorstep of the church.

She was late but manage to have her dinner. We chatted for a while. I introduced them to some of my church friends and most importantly my Youth Chasers friends. I recived a candy from Leon and Romei. It was so sweet of them.

Our Star Gaze show started at around 8pm. First group was the Senior Saints singing one Hokkien Christian song and one English worship song. Then it went on with other cell group's item. Our Youth Chasers was the last item. Thank God for your guidance because without you, we cannot work out a wonderful job. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ, in my precious saviour name I pray, amen.

Here are some pictures of the Star Gaze show last night, hope you enjoy it:

Blessed Christmas everyone! I have to go for now. God bless and take care. Cya. . .

Back from Ubin.

16th December 2006
Hello everyone, I'm back from a one day one night trip to Pulau Ubin. I went there with my church youth group and some of the young adult group friends. W ehad loads of fun staying there for one night.

By the way it is 10:28pm now. I'm having church tomorrow so I'll be ending this article soon. Later I'll show you some pics I took during the 2nd day of our camping. Yesterday, friday, I was having my attachment in the morning so I did not follow them in the early afternoon. I went home for dinner and took SBS2 all the way to Changi Terminal. I didn't know that I was on the same bus as Cullen. I was on a double decker bus. He was sitting upstairs. I was sitting downstairs.

We went to the Changi hawker centre for dinner. I did not buy anything because I already had my dinner at my home sweet home. I met up with Terence, Cullen and Henry. We were the last 4people crossing over to Pulau Ubin. The usual price per person is $2 but we were charged $3 due to lack of passengers aboard.

We reached Pulau Ubin in around 10mins time and we made our way to the nformation house. We were thinking of hiring a van to droive us to the camp site. In the end, we trek all the way to our camp site. It was a wonderful and cooling walk but I still sweat like no one's business. We chat along the way and find our way in with a map of the island.

When we reached, the youth group were treking in the muddy treks somewhere near the swamps cum quarry ponds/lakes. Their shoes and sanders were caked in mud. Luckily, no one complained much about the treking.

We build a small fire and cooked some maggi mee and can sausages for supper. Everyone were hungry. We had loads of fun the whole night through. After the supper cum dinner for some, we washed up and went to sleep in tents. That's our 1st day.

Here are the pics I took today which is our 2nd day. Enjoy:

Terence and Dexter discussing...

The tents at the shelter, we are waiting for our breakfast...

The tents we slept in last night...

The bight sun shining down on us while we having a morning prayer meeting...

The boiling water for drinks and instant noodles/cup noodles...

My white coffee for the morning. I ate tibits before drinking this coffee...

The beach at our camp site...

The abandon logs is the place we collect twigs and branches for the fire last night...

We had our games with Cullen. The 1st game was to stand on the log near the water and switch places with each end. My elder sis and I was the last two person to switch places and we have a long way to each end of the log. Luckily no one forfeited. The next game was to form shape a hour-glass using a rope and our feets.

The 2nd last game was to cross a radioactive river using anti-radioactive leaves. The challenge got difficult when Leon's leg was bitten off by radioactive fish, Vincent hands were also bitten off. Jason carried Leon over his shoulders. Romei was the one who will pass the leaves in front to cross the river.

The last game was the trusting game. A person will say Trusting, then we will say Trust Us, then the same person will say Falling, and we will say Fall On. We need to catch hold of the person falling. We played the games a few times. We relly had fun playing the games. We had learn about trust and teamwork. No one can be alone. Unity is important. Our pastor Roland Ho came to preached on Unity in Christ too.

The message he brought was like God talking directly to me. I really felt so wrong and upset about myself being self-pity. After the whole prayer session, I asked for forgiveness and seek for his words. Lord Jesus, thank you for a wonderful day today. I was of you that you forgive me in anything I did wrong. Lord I pray that I will speak out more and not be self-pity anymore. In my most precious Jesus name I pray, amen.

Now the time is 11:16pm. Im sleeping now. Thank you for visiting my blog again. God bless and goodnight. Cya. . .

Salvation Army Rehab Day Care Centre...

14th December 2006
Good evening, the time is 5:37pm now. How are you guys today? Feeling great today? I'm very happy today. I love this attachment to Bedok Salvation Army Rehab Day Care Centre. It wasn't an air-condition place.

I woke up at 6:30am in the morning to prepare for my 1st day of attachment at the day care centre. I took SMRT67 to Bedok MRT station to meet Christina. She went to the wrong meeting place. Luckily I called her in time. We met a NYP student nurse too. She was also going to the day care centre. She was lost actually. I was surprise to know that she knew my group, she's actually YiWei's room-mate.

We walked towards the bus stop to wait for SBS222. The bus came in about 6mins time. We were the 1st three student to arrive. Another student, Raihana came about 15mins before 8am. We were free from 8am to 8:30am because the briefing only starts at 8:30am. Therfore we went to an open air area to read our newspaper.

When it was 8:30am, we wnet back into the air-condition office. The nurses and PT were very friendly. They were discussing which patient should go home and changing of rehab services. After everything, there was a prayer session. I join in for the prayer session. I thank the Lord for a wonderful environment to be in. The nurses prayed for us student nurses to learn what we can during the two days of attachment. I was overjoyed with tears. No one saw my tears because i held back.

A few minutes later, patients began to arrive via vans or minibuses. We started rehab with the patients. Most of them are elderly. Our luch break was 12:30pm till 1:30pm but we went late. We were clearing the utensils after the patient's lunch.

After our break, we wrapped presents. We had fun wrapping presents and playing with the disco lights. It was a blessed and cheerful day today for me and my fellow new friends, Raihana and WenJuan.

Oh Lord Jesus, thank you for a wonderful and blessed day ahead. Thanks for the forgiveness you given me. I'm soryy for my wrongdoings last night. Lord, thank you very much. I will do my best and learn as much I can for the last day of this day care centre posting tomorrow. In my precious Jesus name I pray, amen.

The time is 6:20pm. I was having dinner before ending of this article. Before I end this article, I'm showing you all the poster for the movie bout how the saviour was born. Here are pictures:

I'm going to check my emails now. Cya. . .

Sleeping in 10mins time...

9th December 2006
Hello everyone, welcome to my blog again. It is 11:46pm now. I just came home from Marina Square. I went out of my house at around 3plus to meet my elder sis at Shaw Towers. She found a sport store selling very cheap bags, hiking shoes and camping stuffs.

I took SBS196 with my younger sis all the way to Suntec City bus stop then cross over to Shaw Towers. After browsing through, we made our way to Suntec City's New Balance and Why Pay More? to look for cheap yet nice shoes but in vain. Then we walked to the Nokia outlet to look for sliding handphone. My eyes caught a Nokie handphone at 1st glance. I love it. I can't remember the Model of the handphone now.

After that, we went to Subway for our dinner. All of us had the Meatball sandwich meal. The songs they airplay are my favourites! There are a mix of 80's and present. We had an enjoyable time there. My elder sis wanted to treat us Japanese ice-cream so we went to Marina Square. The restaurant is in Marina Square. It is called Azabu Sabo.

I love the ice-cream there. I had never enjoy ice-cream so much. My sis's boyfriend pop by to have some ice-cream too. After the treat, we walk through CityLink to catch a train home. We passed by a place selling handicrafts and handphone chains so my elder sis bought some for her friends. I chose a Christmas present for my younger sis. My elder sis also love the present.

We manage to catch the train in time, that is why I'm still able to be here.

Anyway, I'm sleeping now. I'm going to church early in the morning and meeting Nurul for my case study tomorrow so hav a goodnight sleep and take care cya. . .

I'm doing my case study now...

9th December 2006
It is 12:23pm now. I just finish mopping the floor. The floor is squeaky clean! I have two fans blowing towards me now, I'm feeling so cooling now. My hair is in the mess. Finally weekend now. I'm so happy. I'm doing case study now so I have to go now. Have a great day ahead. Cya...

End of this week attachment.

The trip to Tampines IKEA on the 2nd day of opening...

3rd December 2006
The time is 9:40pm. This is a late posting actually. Anyway, I went to Escape Theme Park in the morning with my Elder Sis & her boyfriend, Younger Sis. We had lots of fun there. That was the 1st time I tried out the Datona. I love it. I feel so free. We reached Escape at about 9:30am. We left the theme park at around 1:30pm.

We thought of going to Tampines IKEA as the parking is free. We wanted to try out the famous Swedish meatballs but due to the queue we went shopping around the IKEA instead.

Here are some crappy poses me and my Younger Sis took. The pics are taken by my Elder Sis:

I'm actually wearing a basket on my head. Haha...

She is with her soft toy...

The snake is strangling me and biting her...

We have loads of fun at IKEA. After that, we went to Bedok for a lunch treat. I ate Fried Carrot Cake, the black soy version. It was so delicious. After that I went home to bathe because of the smell from the Wet&Wild at Escape.

Then I went back to Tampines Interchange to meet MandaGom, NeptuneGom, CharGom & SoftyGom to go to Tampines IKEA again. It was the 2nd time in a row for me to go IKEA in just one day. NeptuneGom bought lots of stuffs. I was suppose to buy the $1.90 clock for ActPrettyGom but was very budget. I called ActPrettyGom when we are going home that I will buy the clock tomorrow.

ChaGom, SoftyGom and I took SBS168 all the way from IKEA to Bedok Interchange. We reached Bedok in 30mins time then SoftyGom wanted to go to toilet so we followed her to the Princess Mac. I bought McWings. After that CharGom went home by bus. I walked to the SBS7 berth to take the bus with SoftyGom. We waited for very long.

At last the bus came, we boarded the double-deck SBS7. Actually I'm stopping just one stop away from interchange. A bus conductor came up to check on the passengers. She said I did not tap my EZ-link. I'm surprised because I tap my card! She explain to me maybe there was a glitch. Anyway, I got down at the bus stop and took SBS222 home.

That's all for my adventure for the wonderful Saturday.

On Sunday, My dad was suppose to bring to Changi Beach but we went for blood donation instead. After that we went home and I helped out in mopping the floor. I have learnt something from mopping the floor.

Everytime when I'm mopping the floor, I'm always not happy. I kept saying that my younger sis did not want to help out but something just shoot me in the head. There is a voice telling me. Do with a cheerful heart, not reluctantly. I know God is talking to me. My attitude changes after that. That evening, I went to Tampines IKEA with my dad again. It was very crowded. There is even a queue for entering for monitoring the crowds in IKEA.

We shopped for a very long time. That is where I found out that the clock ActPrettyGom asked me to buy was out of stock! I called her, luckily she did not scold me. Me and my dad were shopping for door stopper. In the end we went looking at all unque stuffs, trying out everything. My dad keeping saying lame jokes. I was laughing non-stop.

After that we went home by SBS168. When I reached home, my younger sis helped me write out the worship songs for today. I was suppose to lead the worship today but it was postpone to Jan2007. I'm debuting for the 1st or the 2nd cell Sunday of Jan.

Alright, I have to stop here. I guess this is my longest article this year. Thanks for the patience reading my blog. God bless you all abundantly. Love you guys always. I'm ending today's article with a verse I memorised yesterday:

2 Corinthains 9:7

He should give what he decided in his heart to give; not reluctantly or under complusion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Think about it. Goodnight. It is 10:09pm. I have to sleep now. I have to wake up at 6am tomorrow for attachment. God bless. Cya...
