Perfect Cut, last episode...

25th July 2008
Good evening to all. I just finish watching MediaCorp Channel U's 1st local drama, Perfect Cut. Today was the last episode. It's the best ending I ever watched in these few years. Not draggy, naggy but just nice; the way it suppose to be. It makes you think that if the ending was longer, you will not like it. If the ending was rushing, you will not enjoy it too.

I seriously, touch my heart, fall in love with this Channel U's drama. I do hope that Perfect Love can get recognition in this year's Star Awards. Nominated for Best Drama, Best Theme Song, Best Actress, Best Actor or whatever. Even though this drama might not win any, it will still be in everyone's mind for being such a perfect drama.

A phrase from the drama: 'though you can't find anything perfect in this world. Perfect and imperfect comes together. If you accept the imperfection you see, everything will be perfect before your eyes...'

I'm going to sleep now. Have a blessed night everyone. God bless all.

At home...

21st July 2008
Hi everyone, the time is 8:20pm. An hour & a half to MediaCorp Channel U drama, Perfect Cut. I'm watching later for sure. I love this drama most now. Best local drama so far for these few years.

By the way, I'm here because I need to post one pic too. Desmond asked me to post the pic so that he can save it on his computer:

It started to rain at about 7am this morning and stopped only at around 4plus 5pm. A long day of rain. The weather is super cooling now. I love the weather so much! Thank God for cooling the hot and humid weather of Singapore. I will have a cool night ahead. Thank God for protecting us through the rain too. Thank God for everything Lord Jesus. I'm deeply grateful for everything you've done. In your most precious name I pray, amen.

I got to go, see you guys soon.

I still need to learn a lot from Desmond. He can take beautiful pics! This coming week will be my last week of 'slacking' week. I will be starting my combat medic conversion on the 28th of July, Monday. I'm feeling anxious now. Lord I pray that you take away my fears and anxious heart and grant me a calm and willing heart. Thank God. Amen.

I watched Batman The Dark Knight this afternoon at The Grand Cathay with my youth cell. We had the couple seats! Haha! This Batman movie was the best Batman movie I ever watched. Joker was the best! Great acting. Play with my mind too. Overall rating for this movie is 4/5!

I got to go now. I'm waking very early again tomorrow. Goodnight to all. Take care.

Back from Sungei Buloh...

19th July 2008
I'm back from Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. It started to rain when I reached Marsiling MRT Station. I took SBS25 to Eunos, alight and took SMRT966 all the way to Marsiling then switch to SMRT925 to Kranji MRT Station. All took 1hr plus. The waiting time for SMRT966 at Eunos was the longest.

I manage to take just bus and not even a single trip of train. I reached earlier than expected. Desmond reached at about 4:30pm. We went to Ananas Cafe to slack 1st before taking SMRT925 to Sungei Buloh. By the way if you want to go Sungei Buloh on a weekday and Saturday, please have a car or take taxi. SMRT925 will only go to Sungei Buloh on Sunday.

Weekdays entry free whereas weekends children 50cents, adults $1. We alighted at Kranji Reservior Carpark B and 'route march' to Sungei Buloh in the rain. When we reached, we paid for the ticket before heading into the wetland.

We went to the cafe nearby to wait for the rain to slow to a drizzle. It was 5:30pm. The cafe auntie told us that she is closing so we left. She told us to go to the shelter the other side, because sometimes otters will appear around 5plus. We headed to the shelter and 'camp' there for the time. Desmond and I took pics of the surrounding:

These pics above are taken at the cafe...

At last the rain stopped! We went out taking pics. Here are some of the pics we took: [I WILL UPLOAD ALL PICS TOMORROW]

After all the pics taking, we headed out of Sungei Buloh. We called for taxi but in vain. They don't even know where Sungei Buloh located. We managed to reached the bus stop where we alight from in time. The last bus for SMRT925 was 7:56pm. We took the bus at 7:20pm towards Causeway Point for dinner at Breeks.

We had a great but tiring evening. It's a pity for not taking the sunset at Sungei Buloh. Hope you like the pics. I'm yawning now. I want to sleep now. Goodnight and take care.

Sungei Buloh, here I come again...

19th July 2008
Good afternoon to all rading this now. The time now is 1:37pm. I'm preparing to head down to Sungei Buloh Nature Park later at around 2plus. I will be meeting Desmond at Kranji MRT Control Station at 4pm. We will be there to take pics of the nature park and the sunset.

It's been so many years since I've step onto the grounds of Sungei Buloh. Previous time I went was with my Secondary School. We went there for a tour and heritage learning. I don't really remember the place that well now, although I remember paying 50cents for the entry. Haha!

Now I'm consider adult so I'm paying $1 per entry. Upnext I'll be planning a trip to Jurong Bird Park when the renovations complete. I've never been to Night Safari too. That will be next. I got to explore Singapore corners.

Alright I have to go. My younger sis want to use the computer to play games. I'll update you guys the pics if I manage to borrow the camera from my daddy. See you all again. Take care and bye.

Mad Jack Cafe...

18th July 2008
Hello everyone, how's your week so far? I knocked off from work or let's just say book out from camp at 3pm. I had a wonderful week! I went to Mad Jack Cafe with Desmond at Bukit Timah Rd. I love the food there. Best western food I ever tasted! Don't believe go try it for yourself. There are two other outlets in Simpang Bedok & Jalan Kayu respectively.

We reached Mad Jack Cafe at around 4plus after knocking off. We were the only ones there. It's not crowded at all. It's not the peak hour yet. I heard from Desmond that the crowd will start pouring in from 5plus and he was correct.

Desmond & I ordered Mixed Fries with Cheese Dips for starters. He ordered Fish & Chips with Mushroom Rice & salad. I ordered Crazy Chick with Mushroom Rice & salad. Both of us ordered IceBlended Mocha.

Mixed Fries with Cheese Dips was generous with the dips. Melted Cheese and Mayonaise were poured over freshly fried fries. Mixed Fries include original and spicy fries. Desmond's Fish & Chips came before my Crazy Chick. The fish wasn't dry at all. There is a special basil or spice tingling your tastebutts. It's not oily but juicy! The Mushroom Rice had a genuinely mushroom smell. It's neither salty nor oily.

My Crazy Chick was a half Fried Chicken. I'm surprise for the not-so-oily base when I lifted up the Fried Chicken! The meat is tender and juicy. Tasted a little too salty but I liked! Haha! The IceBlended Mocha tasted just alright, not too sweet.

I ordered a desert, Mad and Rich-richest choc cake with ice cream. 1st bite was heavenly. I love chocolate and this is what I call a chocolate cake. Desmond said it's too sweet because he does not prefer sweet stuffs. This desert is for chocolate and sweet lovers!!! The vanilla ice cream just nice. Not too sweet. We had a fulfilling dinner that day. I'm going there again very soon. I thought of celebrating my younger sis's birthday at Mad Jack Cafe on the 30th August! I do hope that nothing ruin my plans!!!

Here a slight portion of the menu. Price is different now:

I had my dinner and still feeling hungry. I better stop eating too much before I gain back all my weight I shed. Lord I pray that I can control my diet at the same time, save money too. Lord I pray that you forgive me for eating so much and gorged myself. Thank you Lord. Amen.

I'm going off. I'm organising my computer folders because I find it messy. Take care and enjoy your weekends. God bless you all abundantly!

Half day off...

15th July 2008
Good evening to all of you reading this now. The time is 7:43pm. I had my dinner! Deliciusly cooked dinne by my mummy. Thanks Mummy! Love your cooking forever.

I donated blood at Blood Bank earlier in the day. I had a half day off from work in camp. I went to the Blood Bank via bus with Desmond. He accompanied me there to donate blood too. After donating, as we were walking towards Outram MRT Station, I saw Izyan. What actually happen was tht she bump against me 'accidentally', When I turn to say sorry, I noticed it was Izyan!

So happy to see her after so long. She knock off from work at SGH. Still same old 'bitch'. Haha! Not the mean kind of bad 'bitch' but just a kiddng one. We chatted and took the east-bound train. Desmond & I alighted at City Hall and headed to Raffles City for shopping, yes shopping in our No.4 Uniform. Haha!

We went to the basement to search for donuts and other food. I bought an all-new bread from BreadTalk. It's Japanese twist curry with egg. Delicious but oily. I will not have that often. I weigh myself before donating blood at Blood Bank. My weight now with my combat boots is 71.54kg! I put on weight!!! I need to cut down on eating and start to exercise again!

I had a great day today. I'm watching Perfect Cut on MediaCorp Channel U later at 10pm. It's really the best drama of this year. Great plot, filming style, storyline, characters, props; just wonerful drama so far this few years in Singapore. Keep up the good work Channel U!!!

Movie with Eck...

13th July 2008
Hi everyone, it is 12:08am now. I'm still awake. How are you doing? Sorry for not updating these few days. I was busy watching a new MediaCorp Channel U Drama. It's the the 1st Channel U Drama since the merger of SPH MediaWorks & MediaCorp. The title of the drama is, Perfect Cut. The drama revolve around lives of two doctors, a plastic surgeon & a phycologist. Starring Michelle Chai, Thomas Ong, Julian Hee & Zhang WanLing.

Here are some pics of the Drama:

Anyway, early this Thursday, I went to AMK Hub Fish & Co. for lunch. I had a great time there. I watched Red Cliff yesterday with Desmond. We went to Junction 8 to watch the movie after booking out. We had dinner at Delifrance.

I met up with Eck to watch movie at The Cathay. We watched Get Smart. It was a 5:50pm show. We manage to make it in time. We seated at the front two row. It wasn't straining to our necks at all. The movie was great, it was so humourous!!! Non-stop laughter. My favourite actress, Anna Hathaway was the lead actress in that movie. Pretty lady indeed! Haha!!!

After the movie, I went to meet XingLi. We went shopping Plaza Singapura. I was shopping for soap dispenser but in vain. I will be looking for it tomorrow. Oh yes, it's actually later in the afternoon since it's Sunday already. I will be heading to Plaza Singapura to meet up with Jihan after youth cell.

Oh Lord Jesus, I pray that you guide me later for I'll be leading the cell for the lesson. I pray for your wisdom God, I pray that what I speak of, speak for all comes from you and you only, oh Lord Jesus! Thank Lord for helping me. Lord I'm so glad to have you here! Thank you my precious God, in your name I pray, amen.

I was reading a message Kenneth sent me early this month. 'Discipline is painful & unpleasant for a time; later it brings a harvest of peace & righteousness for those who have been raised by it.' This message really helps in those who are serving National Service! Read and think about it. Lord will guide us no matter what happen, so don't doubt Him at all. The pair of footsteps you saw on the path is His feet because, He is carrying you through. Rest in the Lord! Believe in Him!!!

Hallelujah!

I'm back...

6th July 2008
Happy Youth Day 2008 to all. Sorry for the late July greetings. How are you guys doing? It's a Sunday. The 40Days Prayers cum fasting started on the 1st July. I did not update because I'm limiting myself to the usage of computer and internet.

ActPrettyGom celebrated her 21st Birthday at her home on the 3rd of July. Joanna, Christina & hubby and Elisabeth went over to her house to surprise her. When I reached SunPlaza in Sembawang, Joanna told me that YueNing actually saw them. The surprise was gone just like that but she did not know that we will reach her house 1st.

We went to search for wrapping paper because Joanna's wrapping paper wasn't enough. In the end, we bought 21Jellys for her too. Haha! It was fun to surprise her though. We were carry Jaydon. Jaydon actually kissed Joanna cheeks when Joanna carried him. It was a sweet pic. Joanna has yet to update all pics.

Yesterday, I went to Pasir Ris Park to have BBQ with Christina's family. Joanna, Elisabeth & Boyfriend and I went there via Elisabeth boyfriend's Dad car. His Dad drove us there. It was a short walk to the pit. We had lots of delicious food and took quite a number of crazy pose pics. Haha! We had so much fun!!!

Today after my cell group, Leon, Romei, Issac, Joseph & my younger sis were chatting away outside Pastor's office. We were laughing non-stop at some of the jokes told by us. My younger sis & I went off at around 4plus. We took SBS65 towards Tampines. I went Tampines to meet up with Fairus, Jihan & Gulshan. We went shopping at Century Square. Gulshan went off after shooping.

Fairus, Jihan & I headed down Singapore Expo for The John Little Sale. It was very disappointing; there're nothing at the sale but I manage to buy ankle socks & a canvas belt. Thank God for a wonderful weekend! Lord I pray that you will guide me through this week. Lord I will be leading the cell group this coming Sunday. Lord I pray that I will speak through you Lord. I pray for wisdom of your word, grace and guidance. In Jesus name I pray, amen!

Have a great cooling evening. It's a pleasant whether tonight. I'm surprised! Anyway, have a blessed week ahead too. Give what you decided from your heart to give! Keep that in mind and God bless you all abundantly!!!
